Synopsis Sarazanmai Manga

After the noble Kappa Kingdom fell to the Otter Empire, Kappa prince Keppi lost much of his power and became powerless against the unseen Kappa zombies.

These zombies are the plagues of the earth, the descendants of the Otters and the embodiments of people's deepest desires.

Without any other choice, Keppi must rely on three young boys: Kazuki Yasaka, who must carry a box with him wherever he goes; Enta Jinnai, Kazuki's childhood friend; and Tooi Kuji, a delinquent and a school truant.

Sarazanmai. It's Asakusa, Tokyo. Medium School student Kazuki left a football club without telling his boyfriend (or perhaps more?) Enta and is now doing all he can, irrespective of the effects, to connect him. As the criminal Toi transfers into his own class he and Kazuki eventually destroy the local Kappa statue and anger the Kappa prince Keppi who transforms three kids by stealing them into a Kappa. Now, in order to return to being human, the boys must steal the shirikodama of the "kappa zombies" that have appeared and feed on the wishes of the Asakusa denizens. Can boys successfully connect and defeat the zombies? And if so, what dark secrets would be revealed through the "Sarazanmai" process?
