Shokugeki No Soma – Etoile. Immediately after graduating as First Seat of the Elite Ten from Tootsuki Culinary Academy, Kojirou Shinomiya traveled to France to work on becoming the first Japanese chef to receive the French Pluspol Award. The achievement of his dreams, however, made his cooking stagnate; with no goal to fight for at the top of the food chain, he soon lost the drive to improve his cuisine. Shokugeki no Souma: L'étoile focuses on the self-reinvention of Kojirou following the inofficial Shokugeki 's aftermath of the first year training camp. In order to revitalize his passion for the culinary arts, Kojirou must re-examine his old methods and, in turn, move toward the future to find out what he wants his cooking to express.
